About This Product

The entire patio offset umbrella frame is constructed of rust-free aluminum, from the sturdy aluminum pole to the 8 umbrella ribs. The canopy is also designed to last; it is made from water and fade-resistant polyester fabric that is UV-protected and double-coated with polyurethane for added durability. The umbrella for the pool base is included, and it has hidden wheels to make it easy to move around to your favorite spot. The base must be filled with either sand or water for stability and safe use. The Napoli umbrella has a generously large canopy, which makes it perfect for use with a large seating or dining furniture set. This outdoor offset umbrella is not only stylish but also easy to operate. It can easily be opened and closed with the crank mechanism, while the innovative position auto-lock system allows the angle of the umbrella to be adjusted up to 90 degrees.

Features

  • Sunbrella Fabric: The premium canopy is made from industry-leading Sunbrella fabric, offering UPF 50+ sun protection to prevent skin damage. The 270-gram material includes a vent, making it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is fade-resistant, water-resistant, and stain-resistant, combining practicality with enhanced durability.
  • Rust-Free Frame: The entire frame, from the sturdy pole to the 8 umbrella ribs, is crafted from rust-free aluminum for long-lasting performance. The base needs 265 lbs of water or sand.
  • Durable Canopy: The 12-foot Cantilever patio umbrella canopy is double-coated polyester that is heavy-duty, water-resistant, UV-protected, and fade-resistant. The canopy also includes an air vent. Compliant with U.S. quality and test standards, more sturdy and durable.
  • Easy Operation: The umbrella can be easily opened and closed with a crank mechanism, and the innovative position auto-lock system allows for angle adjustments up to 90 degrees.
  • Convenient Movement: The offset patio umbrella includes a base with hidden wheels for easy movement. The weighted stand is included and acts as a counterweight for stability and safe use.

Totally disappointed in product, but great customer service

UPDATE:
The seller responded to me quickly via email. After seeing photos of the damaged part, I was offered a refund or a replacement, even outside of my return window. Ive updated from 1 to 4 stars because of the great customer service.

I am SO disappointed as we were incredibly excited to receive the umbrella! I was impressed with the listing and loved the video tutorial on how to put it together and use it. We put it together yesterday according to the instructions, which wasnt that challenging. However, once we got it together, it seemed flimsy in ways that I expected stability based off the product description. This product is absolutely NOT sturdy. We filled the base with water and have 150lbs of sand on top of the base. While the base appears stable, the curved arm/frame is not at all and seemingly has bent at this point. The photo is with the slightest breeze before the arm frame bent, rending it no longer usable. Not only is this not functional to use, its a huge safety hazard for pets, kids and guests. I have contacted the seller to return/refund and will update my review if customer service turns this experience around for us.

Good size and quality

I would have given it 5 stars but it's nearly impossible to move when filled with the recommended amount of sand and water, even though there are two wheels that's supposed to make moving it easy.

It looks nice, but don't try to move it alone.

The components seem robust. The U-shaped notches at the base of the supporting arm were not wide enough so the part would not seat low enough for the holes for the retaining bolt to match up. I had to widen the notches with a file before it would fit together. The part of assembly that took longest, however, was filling the base. I used play sand from Lowes and it took approximately 6.5 bags (about 3.25 cubic feet). I initially stood the base up on its narrow end, leaning against my deck railing, and added the sand with a food scoop in order to fill the front of the base. Make no mistake, when the base is full, it weighs well in excess of 300 lbs. This makes the umbrella very stable, but it is a beast to move! You can adjust the shade back and front for variations in the angle of the sun by sliding the second part of the supporting arm through its bracket, however, the only side to side adjustment possible is by moving the whole thing, which requires two strong men, despite the wheels.

Great customer service

The umbrella is quick and easy to set up. I had a problem with the umbrella not staying straight when fully opened. I contacted customer service and they help me right away. First the sent me a new beam that they thought was the problem , but that wasnt when I put new piece on. I contacted again and they sent me a new umbrella. I cant thank them enough on how great company and customer service are. I will def order any outdoor product from them in future!!!

Hard to tell

It is to soon to know if it can handle this Fl heat but it seems nice except for 2 little holes in the fabric. Not sure if it will weaken it. Time will tell.

Excellent cantilever shade - But Tighten the bolts!

The Shade is sturdy and I really like way the cantilever system stays out of the way.

Assembly. In general, it is straight forward. I do suggest using non-permanent Locktite on the threads to make sure they do not back off. The final part assembling by putting the umbrella into the base is a 2 man job. It is friggen heavy and awkward. I used a heavy duty ladder to balance the umbrella while slipping the assembly into the base. I do not recommend this!
Also, I suggest you tighten all the bolts including the ones from the factory. 1 star removed because the main pin holding the umbrella to the cantilever arm (right at the top of the umbrella) came apart after 5 days. Fortunately, the string in the assembly was strong enough not to break. I found the screw on the ground and the pin in the pool. I was able to put it back together and used Locktite to make sure it doesn't back off again.
Again, I recommend the product but check those screws and bolts.
