Would have liked to have a bag or case to store it in but I still love how easy it is to set up and take down. I hate canopies..
I have been searching for such a huge umbrella for my backyard, this has been the perfect buy. The setup and installation was very easy. All I had to do was to fill the sandbag with sand which was simple to do. The quality of the whole product is great and sturdy.
Definitely looks stylish and a great addition to my backyard. I had a patio table to which I was able to add this umbrella. Its quite stable after adding the sandbags.
This umbrella is HUGE! It provides shade to a large seating area. Was very easy to assemble and looks great! It is sturdy and the fabric thickness blocks the heat of the direct sun so my pug can enjoy the outside without overheating.
Very nice piece of umbrella. Big and sturdy compared to my other umbrella this is much bigger if open but just the same size when folded which is a plus since I bring umbrella everywhere rain or shine. It easily fits the bag.
The panels are impressive too that it can stand wind better than my old one.
This umbrella was exactly what I was looking for. I have an older base that I acquired from a neighbor's patio table and chair set that she gave to me because she was moving. She hadn't kept the umbrella outside with the set for the winter, and with the moving, couldn't remember what became of the umbrella meant for the set. I looked around for something to match and thought this might be good. I have seen similar pieces for twice this price, and since I was only looking to complete the set and not start from scratch, I didn't want to pay as much for a replacement umbrella as I might pay for an entire new patio furniture set.
I weighed the options and thought the price was right. I'm so glad I did. It's absolutely PERFECT!
It's a beautiful thick material. It can be oriented straight, upright, or tilted at about a 45-degree angle in opposing directions to block the sun directionally. It has a hand crank that clearly indicates directionally UP for clockwise and DOWN for counterclockwise. There's also a nice ratcheting sound as it goes upwards so that you can choose to only partially open it on extremely windy days, as to not become its own wind sail.
It's the perfect size for what I was looking for. The metal ends of the umbrella spokes are also nicely covered by the material so there is nothing pokey on the ends.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I would also like to clarify, since the color wasn't listed, what I received said Beige on the box, but was a beautiful White that just happens to match perfectly with my vinyl siding. I really didn't care what color it was, since I didn't know the original color of the umbrella from the set I had inherited.
I'm really happy with the umbrella, and my wife loves it! We already spend time on our patio, but it will be much easier to enjoy without the worry of sunburn and extreme heat! We'll finally have it made in some shade! Corny, but a life saver.
Great value since a large umbrella can get very expensive. This one is basically the size of 3 large umbrellas. The quality of the fabric and frame seems really nice. A small inconvenience is due to the base not having a solid bottom, if you move the base the sand bags will fall out of the bottom.
It's not as cumbersome as imagined. It opens smoothly and the shading effect is excellent.
